Rowingbike Tour July 1st, 2023

7 February 2023

This year the rowing bike tour will take place in South Holland. We will be riding on Saturday from Minicamping Zwetzone in Wateringen, located on the border of Midden-Delfland and Westland. We have two surprisingly versatile tours in store, of 60 and 100 kilometers.

Minicamping Zwetzone is located along a canal with a narrow one-lane road leading to it. We can stay there from Friday 30 June to Sunday morning 2 July. Parking options are limited on the campsite itself. To keep car traffic on the road in the right direction as much as possible, camping guests who come by car are requested to drive to the camping site after 2 pm and before 6 pm and to leave before 11 am in the morning. The other guests are requested to park at the public car park (Dorpskade, TOP location) diagonally opposite eatery De Bonte Haas. This is 1 km away from the campsite.

The campsite has places for tents and campers. There are also cabins for rent.

The campsite owner indicates the following about the cabins: opposite the 3 log cabins are the 2 more spacious hiker’s cabins. In total, the Log Cabins and Trekkers Cabins together provide space for 16 sleeping places (expandable by means of air mattresses to a maximum of 25).

The rates are listed on the website of the campsite. The price per night depends on your own choice. For example, sharing a cabin with several people can significantly reduce the price. For more information, see: https://www.minicampingzwetzone.nl/

We have agreed with the campsite owners that we will rent the two party tents from them for the weekend. We build and dismantle the tents ourselves.

Count on 60 euros all inclusive per day, more information will follow after registration.

If you don’t want or can’t camp, an alternative is to spend the night at the nearby brand new van der Valk hotel Delft-A4.
