This version was made from a stainless steel pipe that came from the demolition of a milking installation. It was a round pipe, I believe with a diameter of 45 mm and a wall thickness of only 1 mm. A square stainless steel profile of 40 x 40 x 1.5 mm was used as a bowsprit. It is quite convenient that you can let the ball bearings of the foot sled run directly over the pipe. After 5000 kilometers driven, the main pipe unexpectedly broke. Clearly too weak then. After this, the main pipe was reinforced with a sleeve, and after a while of loyal service, it was sold to Olympic windsurfer Bart Verschoor. Unfortunately, I have no photos of it.
