In the green row suit Frans Göbel. This unequalled skiff rower managed well, just after two weeks of practising on the rowingbike.
If he has a couple of thousand of miles done by the start of next year's EC, he may prove to be tough competion for Homan, Komen, Thijs, Sijbrandij and De Hamer (not nessesary in this order).

Dark clouds, but no rain.

Derk: "I wish I could make a turn as flat as John Poot does here. Or are we looking at a slider here?"

(photographer: nope, everything went just fine)

André Davidse climbs to an eight place. He had less trouble with his equipment than last year. However, he keeps on having trouble with his pedals. I think the Look age is over, André!!

Erwin Duizer takes the corner professionally.

Ronald falls due to a flat tyre.

No serious damage fortunately.

He did move on, but discovered a little while further on he had a flat tyre.

Rob Bakels seems to be careful when taking the corner.

Kees Kooman from Haamstede on familiar soil.

Angelique Böcker and Michiel Verhoef in a grim rearguard struggle. Who gets to the pot of gold first?

But also Kees Kooman is heading in that direction too and may win?
