Real men sport, riding the rowingbike? Hilda Hoekstra and Caroleen Meerman rowing the 80 km race.

The leaders at the rest / turning point

Some minor problems with the material during the race, amongst which this flat tyre.

A group arrives at the turning point.

Arrival at the turning point during a heavy shower.

And back to Neeltje Jans, to the finish.

Hilda Hoekstra and Caroleen Meerman give the soaked photographer some attention, the lucky bastard!

(The photographer didn't have a bad time indeed, hanging out of the window of the very waterproof car).

Olympic rowchampion Henk-Jan Zwolle is at the first pass still in front of Jan Maarten Oolman, who would pass him eventually, shortly before finishing.

Derk, defeated by Ed komen and Theo Homan, interviewed by Omroep Zeeland TV.

Jan Maarten had to sprint hard to defeat such a strong rider and gasps for air on the finishline.

Winner of the 80 km race. Ed Komen not only did a strong but also a cunning race: just at the right time starting the final sprint and thus taking the first position.
